Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

New Baby Bonnets at Rose and Ruffle

Hi friends! I've got just little minute to share some new things at the shop with you. It's been a good but busy week, lots of time spent outside planting and playing! I'll share a landscape/garden post soon because I'm pretty darn proud of our hard work. :) Right now the sun is peeking through the trees across the road and all the leaves are sparkling a million different shades of green, one of my favorite things ever. Here are some pictures of the brand new baby bonnets just listed at Rose and Ruffle... I LOVE them so much!!

I've included the direct links to the items, and these are all Ready to Ship. If you see something you like, contact me and I may be able to make something in a different size for you. Thank you as always. :)

Also, do you shop with ebates? If not, you should! It's so easy and it gives you money just for buying things you'd be buying anyway. I have a link on my sidebar, so you should check it out. Etsy participates with ebates now, too! (I would let you know if I might make a cent or two if you use my link, but I honestly have no idea. Oops. I should probably look into that, ha ha...)

Hope you have a terrific Thursday! We've got errands and well check appointments on our docket today...fun fun! ;)

Senior Prom 2018!

I've been having computer issues, ugh, but I finally got things squared away, so I thought it would be fun to share pictures of Ethan's Senior Prom. We just adore these two...aren't they the cutest?!

Last year the weather was perfect so we got different backgrounds. This year, no such luck, so we stuck with the gazebo, because covered. ha ha But I think they turned out great! We bought the suit and had it altered for Ethan for college interviews and such, and I made him the grey vest and matching bow tie and pocket square from a wrap that his girlfriend decided not to wear. If you haven't checked out prices to rent tuxes in a while, you will be in sticker shock. I sure was! I think this worked out really nicely. The picture below is one of my favorites. So sweet!

None of us is particularly good about pinning on the boutonniere (yes, I totally just had to look up the spelling, ha ha ha), so they were pretending in this picture, right before I pinned it on for real. And then we realized that it's supposed to be on the pocket side. Oops!

And with her beautiful corsage. Ah to be so young and in love. :)

I'll just share the rest without commentary. Don't be too shocked, okay?

Oh they are just gorgeous, inside AND out!

They asked permission to attend an after prom party at a friend's house, and after talking it over- and praying about it!- we said they could go. Apparently their friend's Mom is way cooler than yours truly because she kept bringing the kids freshly baked cookies, hot pizza and snacks all night long. Obviously we parents know this is all code for checking in on things without "checking," so I was secretly relieved and glad to hear that. :) They both said it was such a great night, and I'm so glad they had so much fun. They were good to me, sending me updates and pictures there.

I'm 99.9 percent finished making plans for the big graduation party as well as the special project I've been working on for months now. I'll share soon! Have a great rest of the week! :)

Friday Favorites...Busy Days

I am SO glad today is Friday! I feel like I say that a lot- who doesn't??- but today I reeeeaaaally mean it. :)

I'm joining in for Friday Favorites a little late today, which pretty much sums up this week for me, ha ha. Busy busy busy! As I type this, I am well aware of the fact that I should be getting ready for Isabelle's recital, plus getting Levi ready. #priorities

Last night was Isabelle's school concert- she did great, though I admit, I look at her recently and suddenly she seems so grown up and it puts a lump in my throat. Wasn't she just my little girl like yesterday? So when I wasn't choking back tears, I actually really enjoyed the concert! ha ha

My favorite- and one and only- girl!!!

Front porch blooms - my favorites!!!

This speaks for itself. Right? His smiles are definitely my favorites!

Favorite pastime this week FOR SURE has been all the outside play time after school and after dinner. I adore this time!

My favorite high school senior! We did some pictures the other day and I love how they turned out. I need to do some more casual ones. Ironically, this photo didn't come out clear like I'd hoped, but I love the barn backdrop and his easy going smile, so I'm going to play around with it, ha ha. I'll share the other pics soon! And tomorrow is PROM! How on earth did we get here already?!

She and I are severely outnumbered so doing girly things is a real favorite!

And this photo just popped up and has me feeling all the feels. Ah. Motherhood, you are not for the faint of heart. I remember this very moment like it was yesterday!
